Our sports teams entered the final round of the four-game season hoping for good results to go into Finals next week. There were many closely fought games, all contested within the ACC motto of “Sport in the Right Spirit”.

Basketball was again a strong point in Years 7 and 8 along with Indoor Beach Volleyball. Our Year 7/8 AFLW girls had an impressive victory as did our Year 8 Indoor Cricket team.

In our Year 9 and 10 competitions, our AFLW team kicked a goal in the last minute to beat John XXIII 20-18 and set up a Grand Final vs Sacred Heart next week.

Finally, an excellent performance from our Year 9 Boys Ultimate Frisbee team who also set up a Grand Final vs Sacred Heart, with a 7-2 win over John XXIII.

Well done to all our teams in what has been a busy week. Let’s have one more push for Finals in Week 9.
