Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake Tuesday, the day preceding Ash Wednesday was celebrated at Chisholm Catholic College again this year. As with tradition, it was celebrated by the making and enjoyment of pancakes preparing for the Lenten fast.
The Social Justice Committee had fun selling pancakes topped with nutella and salted caramel to students and staff. All money collected has been contributed to our 2022 Project Compassion fundraising efforts in support of Caritas Australia for their various projects, which aim to tackle poverty through development and advocacy.
