Congratulations to the Eastern Phantoms Junior League team who were undefeated over six games and took out the 2022 Australian Junior League Baseball Championship.

This win will now take them to the JLWS – Junior League World Series, Taylor Michigan USA in August, where the team will represent Australia.

Ben Nesbit (Year 9) was outstanding during the Nationals collecting the most hits, most runs, tied most RBI’s and 3rd best batting average from the 10 teams competing. His hard work and dedication to the sport he loves has certainly paid off.

Ben’s attention now shifts to representing the U16 WA State team in Redcliffe, Queensland from 4-9 July before the Phantoms reunite in preparation for the World Series.
