Year 12 Tourism Excursion

June 23, 2022

On Monday, the Year 12 Tourism class ventured out to Perth City and became tourists for the day.

We caught public transport to the city, something we had looked at during class and for some of us it was the first time! We then gathered at the Information Centre to begin the various tours for the day. Our first tour was a trip to the Boola Bardip Museum where we explored Australia’s history, the animals of the world and learnt about Aboriginal history. We then left the museum to take a tour of Perth’s street art. The tour took us through Wolf lane and William Street where we had the chance to admire a number of murals and learn the meaning behind them. After that, we were free to explore the gorgeous city, ate lunch and took the bus back to school.
