On Thursday 18 May, the Archdiocese of Perth invited Chisholm’s Social Justice and Liturgy Prefects and members of the Senior Chisholm Ministers to the annual 2023 Lifelink Day Launch at Aranmore Catholic College in Leederville. There were over 20 secondary Catholic schools participating in the launch on campus and livestream via their new Lifelink Day website. 

During the session, the guest speakers – Perth Archbishop Timothy Costello SDB, LifeLink Chairman Bishop Donald Sproxton and CEWA Director Dr Deborah Sayce, emphasised the importance of Social Justice, listening, dialogue and community spirit needed for our school leaders. This was then followed by several group discussions and interactions with other school leaders finding ways to live out the Lifelink theme, through their words, deeds and prayer.

Archbishop Timothy Costello SDB thanked all who are part of Catholic Education and the school community for always accepting the challenge of raising awareness, funds and for genuinely spending their time and effort to care for those in need.

This year, Chisholm Catholic College has officially launched Lifelink Day at our House Assemblies and appointed each year group to contribute pantry and toiletry items to our Lifelink agencies across Perth. We look forward to your generous contributions this year.
