CEWA held its annual showcase of STEM projects in the Br Olly Pickett Recreation Centre at Chisholm Catholic College on Wednesday 7 August. The College was host to 17 Secondary and Primary Catholic schools – including St Mary’s College, Broome – who displayed nearly 50 STEM projects of all shapes and sizes!
Chisholm College displayed three STEM Projects – including two Science Projects.
The following Year 8 students presented their Rube Goldberg Machines: Hannah Pollitt, Latisha Pham, Charles Gillon, Adam Radi, and Sufiel Curioso.
The following Year 9 students presented their Earthquake Projects: Sophia Brunini, Sabelle Chami, Olivia Gatti, and Sarah Hua.
I would like to thank these students for giving up their personal time to prepare and present these excellent projects and for leading the Acknowledgement of Country and Opening Prayers at the Showcase. They were sensational ambassadors for the College!
I would also like to thank Mr Peter D’Amico and Ms Lilia Kalache (Science Teachers) for assisting with the preparation of these students and their projects.
