On Monday, Chisholm Catholic College proudly hosted the 97 Club Induction Assembly, a significant event celebrating the outstanding academic achievements of our students from the Class of 2024. We were honoured to have Mrs Annette Morey, CEWA’s Deputy Executive Director, join us for this special occasion.
Nine exceptional students from the Class of 2024 were inducted into the prestigious 97 Club, having achieved an ATAR of 97 and above. This remarkable accomplishment reflects their dedication and hard work, as a 97 ATAR is earned by scoring 80% or more in four ATAR courses. Among these high achievers, our 2024 College Dux, Jennifer Le, achieved Chisholm’s highest ATAR score with an impressive 99.8.

In addition to the 97 Club Inductees, we celebrated 20 students who received the SCSA Certificate of Distinction. This award recognises consistent high grades in ATAR and/or General courses, as well as the completion of VET qualifications. Furthermore, two students were honoured with the SCSA Subject Certificate of Excellence for their exceptional performance in the WACE Examinations, placing them in the top 0.5% of students in their respective courses. Congratulations to Jennifer Le for Mathematics Methods ATAR and Isabelle Doyle for English ATAR. We also acknowledged Marcus Petrolo, the recipient of the Chisholm Catholic College 2025 Scholarship, who will be pursuing a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle this year.
The assembly began with a recognition of the many achievements of the Class of 2024, including WACE achievements, Chisholm Care and Work Experience hours, Uni Ready, VET Qualifications, 2025 University offers and subject achievements.
Jennifer Le shared her journey and valuable lessons with the Year 12 students, encouraging them to stay organised, set realistic goals and maintain a balance between studies and personal wellbeing. She hoped that the assembly would serve as inspiration to every student in the Class of 2025 to make the most of all the opportunities Chisholm has to offer in their final year of their high school journey because “at the end of the year, what will matter most is not just the final result, but the effort you put in and the lessons you take away from the experience.”
We hope that the accomplishments of the Class of 2024 inspire our current Year 12 students to strive for excellence and make the most of every opportunity at Chisholm. As we embark on a new academic year, we wish the Class of 2025 all the very best in their endeavours.
