Yesterday, our students represented Chisholm exceptionally well at the ACC ‘A’ Division Athletics Carnival with some fantastic results across the day. Overall, Chisholm finished in 5^th place, with our Boys placing 3^rd and our Girls placing 6^th.

Individually, four Chisholm students finished in the ‘Top 5 Champions’ for their respective age groups. This means they finished in the top five individual point scorers out of every student competing in their age group:

• Summer Canham – U/13 Girls: 3rd
• Thorence Yalung – U/15 Boys: 3rd
• Dylan Sardelich – U/15 Boys: 5th
• Giuliette Vecchio – U/16 Girls: 5^th

A special congratulations to Summer Canham, who also broke the U/13 Girls ACC Javelin Record with a monster throw of 40.56m! The previous record of 36.73m, set in 2018, stood for eight years before Summer’s incredible effort yesterday.

A massive thank you needs to go out to the PE Department and all the staff who supported our students throughout the athletics season. Special thanks to Mr Ralph Heyes, Mr Andrew Panizza, Mr Zac Hill, Mr Michael Campeotto, Miss Lynda Dichiera, Miss Tanika Pember and Mr Thaddeus Bowen for their support throughout the term.
