Following on from an excellent NAS Athletics Meet on 23 August, the ACC squad was primed and ready to go on Wednesday 14 September in the A Division Carnival at WA Athletics Stadium.
The day started well under heavy clouds and rain, with our athletes showing focus and calmness under pressure to put some early points on the board.
As the carnival progressed Chisholm, Newman College and John XXIII were in a closely fought battle for the 2nd place overall with Sacred Heart pushing out in front.
Leading into the final events Chisholm was placed 4th overall with the relays to come.
Some outstanding 4x100m relays from Chisholm brought the carnival to an end. We finished 4th overall but the margin to third and second place was very small. A wonderful effort from the athletes!
Well done to all those that have been part of the Chisholm Athletics community this term. I hope to see you all again as we push further in 2023.
