Our Senior Boys Basketball team have progressed to the Grand Final of the ACC championship after defeating St Norbert College on Tuesday 16 May.

Chisholm roared out of the blocks and led by nine points at the end of the first quarter. The team continued to play high intensity Basketball and went into half time leading by eight points.

As the third quarter progressed, Chisholm seemed to find an extra gear and at three quarter time, led by 13 points.

The final quarter was a rollercoaster ride with St Norbert staging a comeback with some huge three pointers to claw back Chisholm’s lead. With 20 seconds left on the clock, Chisholm simply had to keep possession to prevent St Norbert having a shot to take the game into overtime.

The clock ran out and Chisholm booked their place in the Grand Final, winning 63-60. What a relief!

Chisholm will play John Septimus Roe in the Final on Tuesday 23 May at Warwick Basketball Stadium, with a 4.20pm tip off. Support is welcome at the Stadium.
