On Wednesday, our Senior Boys Soccer played their ACC Championship Semi-Final against Mercy College.
Chisholm got off to a great start with a well worked goal with Julian Kelly crossing the ball for Jacob Rossi to apply a first-time finish into the roof of the net. 1-0 Chisholm and all seemed well.
Unfortunately, a penalty decision and subsequent red card for our goalkeeper saw Mercy draw level at 1-1. With Chisholm down to 10 players the game was always going to be tough.
This proved to be the case and whilst our boys never gave up and played with determination and pride, they couldn’t find the net to put pressure on Mercy College. The game finished 5-1 but our boys can hold their heads up high. Well done Mr Dhue and students to have made this far into the Championship!
