On Thursday 28 May, the Cross Country Team competed at the ACC Cross Country Carnival, led by our Senior Captains, Chiara Del Marco and James Nairn, and our Junior Captains, Natasha Juszkiewicz and Raoul Vecchio, at Alderbury Reserve. It was an extremely competitive event with over 80 schools vying for success in races that had up to 400 competitors. With great determination and endeavour, the students tackled a new 4km course. After a fantastic day of competition, Chisholm finished a commendable 8th place overall.

These wonderful team and individual results are a true reflection of not only the student’s hard work and commitment to the Cross Country programme but also the dedication and support of our coaching team. Thank you to assistant coaches Miss McLlheney, Miss Pember and Mr Hill, who gave their time to ensure our students were well prepared for the carnival, as well as Miss Anderson, Mr Butler and Miss Holub who attended on race day. Many thanks also to Mr Heyes who coordinated our ever-popular Friday morning breakfasts and for overseeing the ACC programme. We look forward to another exciting Cross Country programme in 2027!
