On Wednesday 12 August, our Senior Boys’ Soccer team played their third group game in the ACC Divisional Championship against Holy Cross College.

Chisholm went into the game knowing that only a victory and three points would put pressure on group leaders Servite and Mercy College.

Chisholm started well and played some good attacking football. This culminated in an early goal from Aiden Reardon and a well-deserved lead. However, some indecision in defence allowed Holy Cross to equalise with their first real attack of the game.

This seemed to spark Chisholm into life and from here on, the team played with composure and good structure to dominate possession and chances.

Chisholm scored three more goals to record a 4-1 victory. Aiden got his second goal along with a goal each to Luca and Isaac.

We now move on to play Mercy College next week, in what will be another important game for both sides.
