Our senior netballers travelled to Aranmore on Tuesday for our first away game of the fixture.

This game was a top of the table clash and we had high hopes to secure a ticket to the first round of finals. Unfortunately, this was not meant to be with Aranmore proving too strong, winning by a comfortable margin.

We thank Scarlett Francis, who had the tough task of defending a very tall and talented opponent, as well as Sophia Ruggiero who made a big impact when swung into the defensive circle. Maia Dean was exceptional in the role of Wing Defence, despite playing out of position, and our youngest team member Grace Allpike ran a full game in Centre.

Thank you to Miss Holub (Prac Student) and Ms Anderson who assisted on game day, and to the parents who made the trip. Our season will close on the 19 May, 3:30pm when we take on Swan Christian at home.
