Round 3 saw Chisholm face off against La Salle at home on Tuesday. This was a comprehensive performance by Chisholm who dominated in all parts of the ground and in all phases of play, resulting in a convincing 6-0 victory.

Apart from winning, the other aim this week was to get some game time into girls who hadn’t had many opportunities in the previous two rounds. The performance of all these girls was particularly pleasing; the depth in this squad is a real advantage.

You need goals to win and Nancy (3), Georgia (2) and Tristen (1) provided those. Sacha had a big part to play in setting up some of these goals. You also need to stop the opposition from scoring and Chisholm’s defence was all over the park, led by Zenyi and Ruby at the back, and Madison in goals, was enormous.

Our next game is at home again on Tuesday 18 August against Mercy College beginning at 3:30 pm. This promises to be a very even game and I would encourage as many supporters as possible to get down there to cheer the girls on. They are a great team to watch! Well done girls!
