Last Friday evening 2 September, the ATAR Music class of 2022 astonished and delighted all with their end-of-year solo performances.

Soirée featured performances from Finn McKibbin on Bass, Thomas Pham on Piano, Owen Koroll on Trumpet, and Jade Kingston on Flute.

The evening also featured Dolce Ensembles, Mr Paul Olsen, and Miss Stephanie Gilhooley performing pieces from Francesco Rachetti’s composition portfolio.

The evening concluded with the ATAR class performing a Rachetti original “Sam the Ash Man” as a sophisticated jazz combo.

These students are to be commended on the strength and maturity of their performances, and we wish them well for their upcoming exams!

We would like to thank and acknowledge the adjudicators – Mr Dale Pointon and Mr Niels Rosendahl – and the accompanists – Ms Kendra Smith, Mr Joe Bell and Mr Angelo Ravina.
