On Thursday 5 August, over 400 Chisholm students participated in this yearly event. There are hundreds of thousands of competitors in this worldwide competition involving very challenging mathematical questions. Chisholm students overall performed exceptionally well, with seven students receiving a High Distinction, 89 students awarded a Distinction and a further 178 students receiving a Credit. 55% of all participants in the competition received a Credit or better – we had 68% of our Chisholm participants achieving this! There were some exemplary individual efforts. Our overall best performer was Benjamin Nguyen 8L1 who was in the top 1% of participants in Australia. The best performers from each year group were: Alexander Harp 7L3, Amber Nguyen 7O2, Benjamin Nguyen 8L1, Luke Dropulich 9O3, Joshua Dropulich 10O3, Mimi Ma 11K3 and Yun Jie Zhuo 12L1.
