On Wednesday 21 May, our Senior Boys Basketball team took on Prendiville Catholic College in the semi-final of the ACC Championship, having defeated Mother Teresa Catholic College in the quarter-final last week.

The game was played at Bendat Basketball Centre alongside the other semi-final between John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School and Frederick Irwin Anglican School.

The game was keenly contested by both teams who really gave their all out on the court showing real determination. Chisholm led the game at each interval, although going into the final quarter, the game was in the balance as Prendiville clawed back Chisholm’s lead to just 8 points.

Chisholm started the fourth quarter with an abundance of energy, grit and determination and soon pulled away into a healthy lead. Prendiville tried to respond but Chisholm stayed firm and pushed to a 76-51-point victory.

The team will now play John Septimus Roe in the grand final on Tuesday 27 May with a 4:00pm start time at Warwick Stadium.
