This week, the Library celebrated the 80th Anniversary of Children’s Book Week with a variety of activities, competitions and celebrations.

Students joined in the fun through a range of quizzes, including:

• Guess the Staff Member’s Favourite Book (staff were spotted reading or carrying their chosen book throughout the week)
• Guess the Book in the Frame (a scrambled book cover challenge)
• The PCG Book Week Quiz
• The Friday Kahoot!
• Design a Bookmark competition.

Staff also got into the spirit with their own quiz, as well as a dress-up day inspired by this year’s theme, Book An Adventure.

To mark the milestone of 80 years of Australian stories, we hosted a special morning tea to celebrate our Top Readers.
