This year’s Chinese Writing Competition run by the Chinese Language Teachers’ Association of WA proved to be more challenging than ever, with standards rising across every category. Our school proudly put forward the maximum number of entries allowed – five students from Years 7 to 10 – each demonstrating dedication, creativity and strong Chinese language skills.
We are delighted to share the outstanding results achieved by our students. Sarah Hua (Year 10) earned an impressive Second Place in her division. In addition, Year 7 students Eliza Ta, Manting Liau, Sam Johns and Sufiel Curioso (Year 9) all received a Certificate of Excellence, recognising the high quality of their writing and their commitment to learning Chinese.
We warmly congratulate all five students on their achievements. Their hard work, perseverance and passion for the Chinese language have truly shone through. They have represented our school with pride and we commend them for setting such an inspiring example for their peers.
