Chisholm’s Student Committees – A Wonderful Show of Belonging and Purpose

February 26, 2026

We were thrilled by the wonderful turnout at the recent sign-up for Chisholm’s Committees. It was inspiring to see so many students step forward, eager to be involved and to contribute to our College life.

These committees provide a valuable opportunity for every student to feel a sense of belonging and purpose, fulfilling their desire to connect with others and make a meaningful difference. Each committee has its own special focus: the Arts Committee promotes creativity, Community Relations fosters connection, the Environment Committee encourages sustainability, Liturgy nurtures our faith life, Social Justice inspires compassion, Sports emphasises teamwork, and Wellbeing focuses on reaching out and building supportive relationships.

This time, for the first year, we are proud to announce that each House: Keenan, Laurence, O’Sullivan and Prendiville, is also a committee. This gives students a unique opportunity to see what happens behind the scenes when planning events and making important decisions that shape our College community.

It is truly a blessing to witness such enthusiasm and commitment. Together, we are strengthening our sense of community and empowering our students to make a positive difference.
