College Uniform Standards

April 2, 2026

Chisholm Catholic College prides itself on having clear uniform standards and well presenting students. The high quality and standard of dress influence the attitude of students and sets a strong tone of positive expectation and pride in belonging to our College Community. In preparation for our students’ return to school for Term 2, we remind all students, parents and guardians of the Chisholm Catholic College Uniform Standards that is available on SEQTA or via this link.

Terms 2 and 3 see our students wearing their Winter Uniform. Final preparations are still possible by accessing the College Uniform Shop during the following times over the Easter break:

Saturday 18 April   9:00am – 12:00pm

Monday 20 April     10:30am – 3:30pm (Parent-Teacher-Student Meetings)

The Uniform Shop will close on Tuesday 21 April and re-open to normal hours from Wednesday 22 April 12:30pm – 4:00pm.

Two specific concerns we seek to highlight are the haircuts and length of some of our girls skirts:

Haircuts are a common part of holiday time preparations for returning to Term 2. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for a hand full of students to return from school holidays with haircuts which are in breach of the College’s Uniform and Personal Presentation Standards. Please peruse the College Uniform Standards that on return to school (on Wednesday 22 April) that hair is tied up correctly, is an acceptable hair style (examples of unacceptable hair styles are cuts which are at all shorter than a #2 length; undercuts; has cut lines, a rats tail or a mullet style).

I take this opportunity to also remind our community that the Girls skirts are to be worn at knee-length. Please check and ensure the skirts are the correct size and that they will be correctly worn into the future.

Finally, thank you to all students and parents who continue to support and comply with our Uniform Standards as one of the important aspect of being part of our College community.

Mr John Swindells
Deputy Principal – Community
