Our ONSITE students have completed their first 10-week work placement and the feedback received from the students has been overwhelmingly positive:

“I really enjoyed the ONSITE programme because it gave me a better idea of what it is like to become an education assistant. I have learned so many new skills that will be beneficial to me when I study at TAFE post-graduation. I am grateful that I was given an opportunity to be in this programme because I enjoyed being at my placement and made a lot of special bonds with the students in my class.”

“One skill I have gained from this placement is the ability of thinking outside the box to find problems within a website.”

“I learned how to manage retail stock properly and how to handle customer service correctly.”

“Throughout my 10 weeks of hairdressing, the number of skills I have learned cannot be put into words. Finding out people’s incredible life stories and how much work goes into hairdressing was far more than I could’ve ever known. I am now more comfortable making conversation instead of sitting awkwardly in the corner and one positive outcome would be that they gave me a job, which means I must’ve done something right!”
