Our academic activity and assessments continue to ramp up as we enter these mid-term stages. Senior students have sat important Externally Set Tasks this week and are focussed on important preparations in the weeks ahead for the College Semester One Exams commencing in Week 7. These exams will see our Year 10, 11 and 12 students on study leave for Weeks 7 and 8 as the exams are held.
Work on our construction site adjacent to the College Hall will be suspended on some days as required for those exams set in this venue.
I ask parents and students to be aware of some temporary adjustments to our Executive Leadership Team during this term as we accommodate for staff leave. Mrs Pietropaolo is on leave for the whole term and Ms Martin, the Head of Year 12 will be the Acting Deputy Principal – Administration in her place. Please note that Ms Martin will continue to oversee the Year 12 cohort should any communication or assistance be required.
Mr Randazzo will also be on leave from Week 7 through to the end of term and Mrs Nicole Huggins will step into that role as Acting Vice Principal – Teaching and Learning.
We look forward to the celebration of Mother’s Day, both here at the College with our annual invitation event and of course with our own families on Sunday. Mother’s Day is indeed special and we wish all the mothers in our lives, many blessings for a great day.
Mr John Bormolini
Principal
