Dear Parents, Students, Staff and Friends of Chisholm Catholic College
It is always amazing early in the new school year, for the opportunity to congratulate and celebrate the wonderful achievements of the Year 12 Class of 2025. We are delighted with the acknowledgement and rewards that this cohort has received for their hard work and effort, under the guidance and support of so many staff and family members. - 38 students achieved an ATAR above 90
- 40 students completed the Curtin University UniReady Program
- 188 students applied for entry to a WA University of which 97% have been offered a university placement
- 13 of the 24 ATAR courses studied had an average score above the State Average
- 125 National VET certificates achieved (Cert II, II and IV)
- 26 students completed a Cert IV (ATAR of 70 accredited)
- 7001 Workplace Learning hours completed
- Numerous recipients of SCSA awards

- 23 students received Certificates of Distinction
- 41 students received Certificates of Merit.
On Monday this week, we hosted our annual 97 Club Induction Assembly to recognise several students for their outstanding individual achievements. The highlight of this event was a keynote address from 2025 College Dux, Alex George. Alex shared his wisdom, learnings and key tips with the 2026 cohort which was received very positively by staff and students alike. I’m certain that many of the current Year 12 students will reap the rewards of Alex’s presentation.
Mrs Millimaci has included further details about this special event in her report for the Carolean.
This week we also marked the beginning of Lent, a very special time on our liturgical calendar with the celebration of Ash Wednesday. It is during this time that we are reminded to commit ourselves to be more Christ-like in all that we do. We are called to prayer, fasting and almsgiving, to examine our hearts and minds, actions that strengthen us spiritually. It was a special pleasure to celebrate this sacred time with our students this week and I look forward to sharing these elements of our Catholic faith, highlighted during Lent, with all members of our community.
God bless.
Mr Simon Harvey
Principal
