Dear Parents, Students, Staff and Friends of Chisholm Catholic College,
“The College Advisory Council undertakes an important governance responsibility in overseeing the financial operation and capital development planning for the College. Within this mandate, the elected Advisory Council is called upon to provide a supportive role to the Principal in leading the College community.”
I capture these statements from our College website to give a snapshot of the important role of our College Advisory Council. The Council met for the first time this year on Tuesday 17 February.
We are very grateful for the commitment, dedication and generosity of time, talent and energy of our Council members. Joining me on this important Council this year are:
- Sr Mary Ryan OP
- Mrs Maria Russo Dropulich
- Mr Scott Bradley
- Mrs Natasha D’Souza
- Mr Christopher Lambert
- Dr Laila Simpson
- Mrs Marianne Suarez
- Mr Tim Cocks, Business Manager
- Mrs Melanie Underwood, Executive Assistant to the Principal.
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Bradley as the new Chair of the Council and wish to introduce him to our community.
Scott began his high school education at St Mark’s College and following the merger with St Thomas Aquinas in 1989 to form Chisholm Catholic College, he graduated in 1991. In that time, Scott was a member of Prendiville House, which he now proudly shares with his children, and jokes that it is, the best House.
Scott has two children currently attending the College: Will (Year 11) and Thea (Year 10). He lives in Bayswater with his wife, Vanessa, an artist who works as a Program Lead in the creative arts industry.
Scott joined our College Advisory Council in 2022.
His professional career has been in the IT and telecommunications industry, where he has held senior roles in program and project management, having worked with several major organisations, including Bankwest and BHP, and was involved in the rollout of the NBN fibre network across Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory.
Scott is currently Senior Manager, Project Delivery at RAC, where he leads a team of Senior Project Managers delivering a complex portfolio of projects across the organisation.
We are delighted that Scott accepted the role as Chair. We thank all our Advisory Council members for their ongoing commitment to Chisholm Catholic College and we look forward to the sharing their gifts and expertise with our College community.
God bless.
Mr Simon Harvey
Principal
