Dear Parents, Students, Staff and Friends of Chisholm Catholic College,
Many senior students are now in the middle of sitting exams. This period requires students to consolidate their learning and study diligently to perform to the best of their ability. I encourage parents and carers to actively support their children during this time. Your guidance can help them stay focused, maintain a positive mindset and manage any associated stress effectively.
University undergraduate study guides for next year are now available. While aimed at Year 12s, their message about the power of education applies to every student. These guides highlight that knowledge is a universal currency. They emphasise that critical thinking and specific skills are essential for achieving professional goals and making a positive global impact; attributes that apply universally across all careers.
This aligns perfectly with the message we want our young adults to hear. At Chisholm, we provide a high quality education and diverse opportunities. Our goal is to inspire lifelong learning and shape ethical global citizens.
Working with parents and carers, we encourage students to learn with an open mind. Our ‘Vision for Learning’ focuses on preparing active learners with the exact values and skills needed for the modern world.
Together, let us continue to inspire our young people to pursue excellence in any field they choose.
I hope you have an enjoyable weekend and week ahead.
