It is that time in Term 3 that sees students in Years 7 to 11 make serious decisions regarding subject choices for 2023. Students in Years 7, 8 and 9 are required to select elective subjects they wish to study based on their interest and ability. Students in Years 10 and 11 should also consider these two factors in addition to their post school intentions. Information to complete the online process of selecting subjects has been distributed. If required, I urge parents and students to contact relevant staff at the College to seek clarification or advice regarding this matter.
Year 12 students should now begin in earnest to partially focus on life beyond Chisholm. I particularly urge them to continue to commit fully to all the College has to offer and enjoy what will be their last term of formal secondary education. In relation to making future decisions and the many options available, I hope they remain open-minded, motivated and willing to learn. In some ways this is only the beginning of being presented with opportunities for gaining new knowledge and skills and ultimately for personal growth.
I hope you have an enjoyable weekend and week ahead.

“The school was not the end; it was rather the instrumental means for improving the way of life.”
