FROM THE PRINCIPAL – Welcome Back to the Second Half of the Year

July 21, 2023

In my recent Letter to Community, I outlined a number of important things in regard to the start of this new semester. In particular, I stressed the need for parents, students and staff to be aware of changes to parking and traffic flow as a result of the commencement of construction for our new Flexible Learning building. I ask that everyone heeds these directions properly, please.

The new Flexible Learning Centre is a significant capital development and improvement for the College and will contain nine new flexible teaching and learning spaces, four of which will be on the second floor that can be opened up to create a specialist examination or open learning venue. It will be a very valuable addition for our teaching and learning facilities and particularly for our students. I look forward to sharing more information about this development in the months ahead.

Today we celebrate the Feast of Blessed Francis Jordan, the founder of the Society of the Divine Saviour, and the Salvatorian Order, who was beatified in 2021. We wish Father Zyggy, our College Chaplain, many blessings on this special day for him and others in the Salvatorian Order around Australia.

Mr John Bormolini
