Our newly elected Year 8 -10 House Representatives attended the GRIP Leadership Conference at the Perth Convention Centre this week. The Conference focused on leadership formation and provided a valuable opportunity for us to share ideas and experiences. 

Throughout this conference, we were given independence to make decisions regarding the type of leader we strive to be. The proposed electives provided two different selections of how we as leaders could contribute and implement the student voice to create a solid basis for the school.

The Conference also provided us with the opportunity to build connections with other schools. Throughout the day, we interacted with other student leaders from all around Perth. We shared ideas, concepts and the foundations for the future of student leadership. These newfound connections will serve as one of the key guiding points for how the student leadership at Chisholm voices the student body.

As a group, we have all gained valuable leadership skills and knowledge from the Conference which will aid us in the coming year.
