Each year, Chisholm Catholic College proudly celebrates LifeLink Day, a special occasion dedicated to supporting those in need through fundraising, donations, and vibrant House-based activities. In 2026, our theme is “It is in giving that we receive” (Luke 6:38), reminding us that generosity enriches both the giver and the receiver.
LifeLink Day will feature a modified timetable, with Period 1 cancelled to allow for the day’s activities. Students are to wear their House shirts with modest casual clothing and closed-in shoes. Throughout the day, our community will come together to demonstrate compassion and House spirit through both financial and food donations. A $2 contribution will be collected in PCG, while each year group will donate specific non-perishable items to support The ShopFront and St Vincent de Paul.
Donations include canned meals (Years 7–8), pasta and noodles (Year 9), drinks such as long-life milk and juice (Year 10), breakfast items (Year 11), and snack foods (Year 12). These contributions will directly assist individuals and families in need.
Excitement will build through House challenges, including the “Longest Donations Line” and a spirited Skit and Chant Competition at Assembly, showcasing creativity and commitment to LifeLink values.
LifeLink Day is a meaningful reflection of our College mission and community spirit. Thank you to our students, dedicated staff, House leaders, especially Miss Rachael McLleney, Mr Jamie Gotti, Mr Michael Campeotto and Mr Thomas Ryan, for making this day possible.
