We are pleased to share that Mural Artist Jerome Davenport, from Blank Walls, has commenced creating two stunning murals over the coming weeks. These murals will be located on the oval side of our Performing Arts Centre and the Contemporary Learning Space (top half of both buildings). Jerome’s work is truly remarkable and you can view his portfolio at blankwalls.com.
The College has collaborated with Jerome to design murals that honour our heritage (in sepia colours) while celebrating modern student life (in vibrant colours). Students have been invited to look out for the following images:
- Caroline Chisholm and the immigrants she helped, with the harbour in the background
- St Thomas Aquinas and Christian Brothers High Schools
- Brother Olly Pickett at “Wheelchairs for Kids” (2025 Senior Australian of the Year)
- Performing and Visual Arts
- Sport
- Students on campus.
Throughout the murals, you will see First Nations travelling lines indicating journeys, with circles and symbols representing people gathering at campsites or places. This symbolises the individual journeys that our community travel in their time here at Chisholm Catholic College.
Follow the College’s social media as our Community Relations Team captures Jerome’s progress as the mural comes to life.
