Last week saw the College celebrating Maths Week with some fun activities and guest speakers.

The traditional ‘Guess How Many Lollies In The Jar’ was once again very popular with students and staff. ‘A Race Around The College’ saw some competitors running around the school answering mathematical questions, where only a correct answer would lead you to the next question location. We also had Minecraft activities, some missing Greek letters, ‘The Great Minty Challenge’ and two wonderful guest speakers Miss Soraya McPhail, a very bright mathematician who works at the ABS (Australian Bureau of Statistics) in their Methodology Division and our very own Mrs Tina Nicolau, a qualified engineer and current Maths teacher.
