On Tuesday 9 September, we had our College Music Night which featured all of our large ensembles playing repertoire from the recent Catholic Performing Arts Festival as well as new repertoire just for the occasion. With more than 200 students ranging from Years 7 to 12, our audience was wowed with pieces straight from Hollywood and Broadway, renowned Western Art pieces, Jazz Classics, reworked Pop Hits and stunning Choral works. 

The evening also included the announcements of our 2026 Music Captains and awards also given to our top students across our four College Ensembles and our Year group bands. 

Thank you to all of our supervisors, front of house team, stagehands, sound and lighting crew and Ensemble Directors for making the night run smoothly as well as our 2025 Captains for MC’ing the evening. It was an amazing evening and a great way to celebrate the Chisholm Music Department.
