The Australian Government is delivering policies to delay children’s access to social media. From 10 December 2025, age-restricted social media platforms will have to take reasonable steps to prevent Australians under the age of 16 from creating or keeping an account.

Catholic School Parents Western Australia (CSPWA) is currently seeking parental views and possible support, in the federal initiative to delay children’s access to social media.
