A Big Week Farewelling the 2021 Graduating Class

September 24, 2021

Wednesday – Whole School Assembly

A guard of honour, created by the newest and youngest members (Year 7s) of the Chisholm community for the Year 12s entering the gym, set the scene for the final whole school assembly. The event was an emotional one for the leaving class who have formed such close friendships over the six years of high school. In a truly moving occasion, the Year 7s again provided a guard of honour as the Year 12s left the gym, whilst ‘Chasing Cars’ by Snow Patrol played in the background.

Thursday – Signature Bears and Alumni BBQ

As has become tradition, our graduating class received their signature bears on which other classmates and staff left meaningful messages as a keepsake. Thanks to CCC Alumni for putting on a BBQ at lunch time for our Year 12s.

Friday – Thanksgiving Mass and Year 12 Assembly

After a busy morning of tidying up and spending time in pastoral care groups, the Year 12 cohort finished their structured school life with a Thanksgiving Mass and Year Group Assembly. In the blink of an eye, the moment some had been dreading, whilst others had longed for, had finally arrived. School was out for the leaving Class of 2021 for the last time.

The College wishes the Graduating Class of 2021 well and thanks them for their contribution to our community.
