Another Wonderful Production

Last week, the College saw a return to our typical full-scale Musical Production with “The Wind in the Willows”. On behalf of everyone in our wider College community, I would like to sincerely thank everyone involved in this highly successful event. The dramatic and musical Production has always been a yearly highlight for Chisholm and with the disruptions of the past few years, it has been great to see it return with such enthusiasm and quality.

It is as we know however, an enormous undertaking in effort and hard work with so many people, students, staff and parents, all contributing. Mrs Nicole Huggins has already publicised an extensive vote of thanks and appreciation for all of those involved but I must emphasise again the tireless and many hours of work put in by the Director, Mrs Rebecca Williams; Co-Director, Miss Maddy March-Anthony; Music Director Mr Chris Milne; our Vocal Teacher, Mr Mathew Leak and the Sets and Backstage Director, Mr David Lyons-Nash. Well done and congratulations on a great show.

Yesterday, many of our Mothers of our Year 12 students gathered outside for a Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea coordinated by Mr Adam Williamson. Opportunities such as these to gather in community are testament to what makes Chisholm special, I believe. Thanks to all those who came along and enjoyed the afternoon and the glorious food provided once again, by Mrs Grace Monterosso’s outstanding Canteen team. We truly are very fortunate to enjoy the wonderful standard of fare produced by our Canteen, which I’m sure is second to none amongst our schools.

My thanks again and best wishes to all of our Mothers on Sunday. They deserve every recognition and blessing for being the special people they are, or have been, in our lives.
