Ben Nesbit (Year 9) recently represented WA in the U16 State Baseball Team at the Australian Youth Championships in Redcliffe Queensland.

WA finished with a Bronze medal and Ben won the Golden Glove Award for the entire championship for the best defensive player. This is a great achievement for a 14 year old boy who is still eligible to participate in next year’s tournament. Well done Ben!

Ben will travel with his Eastern Phantoms Junior League team to represent Australia in the Junior League World Series in Michigan running from 14 – 21 August. We wish them all the very best.
