Our traditional Inter-House Athletics Carnivals returned to the State Athletics Stadium for the first time since 2020. We were blessed with perfect weather for both our Carnivals held on Monday and Tuesday of Week 2.
The Year 9 cohort along with students from Years 10-12 who nominated as competitors kicked off the competition on Monday. The day started with Hurdles and students had their chance to score points for their House and individually. Excitement ran high on Tuesday as the Year 7 and Year 8 groups descended upon the Stadium and battled for glory while displaying excellent sportsmanship and respect. A fierce battle between all Houses meant that a single point could be the difference between 1st and 2nd!
Congratulations to all competitors and Houses. Thank you to all staff who attended and made the experience memorable for all students.
