Year 9 student Tyson Nguyen has just returned from Malaysia, where he represented Australia and competed in the CK Classic International Open for Taekwondo. His team, Rawlins Taekwondo, alongside other Australian teams competed and fought against 17 countries.

Tyson fought in the Cadet Division of ages 12-14 years in the 51- 53kg weight category.

Over several days, Tyson participated in and won all four of his fights, which resulted in him winning the Gold medal for Australia! Congratulations Tyson!
