On Monday 24 January, Chisholm welcomed our Year 11 Peer Support Leaders back to school. These 72 student leaders were trained in new techniques and strategies to help assist with the incoming Year 7 cohort with their transition from primary school to Chisholm life.
Students were thoroughly engaged in lectures on public speaking techniques, engaging and supporting students and working in a team for one common goal. The Peer Support Leaders also completed several tutorial-based activities similar to the ones in which they will run with their own PCG in the coming weeks.
It was pleasing to see so many young passionate leaders who want to make a positive difference for their school community.
