Student Achievement: Isabel heads to UWA

October 29, 2021

Congratulations to Year 11 Isabel Campione who has been selected to attend the prestigious National Youth Science Forum, during the summer holidays in January 2022.

Isabel should feel very proud of her achievements in being selected for this highly competitive program, kindly sponsored through the Ballajura Rotary Club. Together with other successful applicants from across the State, she will spend 12 days at the University of Western Australia, living on campus like a university student. During this time, the students will visit many science and engineering research facilities, meet a range of researchers in science and engineering and participate in the sort of activities they do every day. Students will also be encouraged to debate the hottest topics in cutting-edge science and engineering in open style forums. In addition, students will be guided through application processes for university entry and special scholarships that may become available, as they select their special paths towards very rewarding careers.

We all wish Isabel an enjoyable and memorable experience, one that she will remember well beyond her high school years.
