Our Year 11 Career & Enterprise students may not have had to sit an exam the last two weeks, but were involved in an important assessment process that included locating a ‘real’ employment opportunity that they could apply for if they were at the end of Year 12.

Students then submitted a covering letter of application and resume for the advertised vacancy, focusing on tailoring both documents to the selection criteria within the advertisement. The final task in this assessment was an interview. We were fortunate to secure the services of former Flexistaff recruitment officer, Mrs Margaret Jones, who interviewed each student and provided valuable feedback on their presentation, punctuality and preparation.
