Our ONSITE General students have now completed five weeks in the workplace across a range of industries. We thank those businesses who are supporting our students on their career journey. We wish our ONSITE TAFE students all the best as they undertake their work experience during these school holidays.

“This is my second year doing work experience through ONSITE. They helped me find a placement at the amazing Skin & Ko, a beauty salon specialising in the treatment of scars, stretchmarks, hyperpigmentation and acne. I have been given the opportunity to work alongside Marnie, a beauty therapist with more than 20 years’ experience and a strong passion to help everyone feel great. I have learnt many skills in the salon and it has helped me get on the right track towards my career in the beauty industry. My ONSITE placement has given me the opportunity to work part-time as a salon assistant, something I wouldn’t have been able to do without ONSITE. I think it is a great programme which helps students gain experience in an area of their interest and helps them determine whether it’s for them or not. Through Year 11 and 12 you can complete four placements and although I have been with Skin & Ko all the way through, I think this is a great way for other students to explore multiple career paths and determine which one suits them best.”
