At our final PEG meeting this week, we had the bittersweet task of farewelling two long-standing and deeply valued members of our College community – Mark Frew and Michelle Jacobsen. Mark has been a dedicated PEG member for an impressive seven years and Michelle for two years. Throughout their time with us, both have generously given their time, energy, and thoughtful insights to support the College and strengthen the partnership between families and the school. Their contributions have helped shape the PEG into a vibrant and effective forum for parent voice and engagement.

As their youngest children have now graduated, Mark and Michelle are ‘retiring’ from their PEG roles. While we understand and celebrate this new chapter for them, their presence, wisdom, and good humour will be greatly missed around the table. On behalf of the College, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Mark and Michelle for their commitment and service. We wish them all the very best in the years ahead and hope they remain connected to the College in spirit and friendship.

Early in the 2026 school year, expressions of interest to join PEG will be invited. As you contemplate a potential commitment of service to the College, note that our PEG are not fundraisers, but volunteers who represent the parent community and give voice on how together we can continue to grow Chisholm.
