FROM THE PRINCIPAL – Presentation Night 2022

December 1, 2022

Presentation Night is always intended to be a celebration of our students’ excellence and our College Values of Character, Learning and Compassion. This year was Chisholm’s 34th Annual Presentation Night and once again we filled the Perth Concert Hall with Teal, Red and White. We were joined by Christian Brothers, Dominican Sisters, former and current staff and students, over 600 parents and family members as well as our Year 7 cohort, in their dress uniform giving them all a strong sense of this special College Community to which we all belong.

Almost 200 students received awards, over 130 students performed beautifully in the Symphonic Orchestra, Showband or Choir. Our 2022 Prefects and Assistant Prefects handed the College banner and responsibilities of student leadership to our 2023 Prefects Elect and Assistant Prefects Elect.

The night was characterised by music of the highest caliber, beautiful photographic collages capturing our academic year and of course recognition of excellence, including our top academic achievers as well as our special award winners for 2022.

Please see the attached link of the 2022 Presentation Night Programme, now updated to include the Award Winners announced on the night.

Congratulations to our student award winners and participants on the night. We seek to also affirm every student who tried their best in 2022, regardless of whether or not they were acknowledged as an award winner. Your teachers and College are proud of you.

Thanks to our staff contributors, special guests and our many parents and family members who supported us on the night, thus helping to make it a special night for our community.

Mr John Swindells
