Our 2025 Presentation Night was held on Monday in the Br Olly Pickett Recreation Centre. We were delighted to welcome Christian Brother, Br Olly Pickett; Prioress of the Dominican Sisters, Sr Mary Ryan; Chair of the College Advisory Council, Mr Glen Jacobsen; former staff, representatives from CEWA, a range of special guests and many parents, family members and College staff who joined us for this important occasion.
The heart of Presentation Night is the recognition of students who have exemplified excellence throughout the year. Awards were presented across academic learning areas, student leadership roles and special categories acknowledging outstanding contributions to College life. Together, these honours reflect the Values we seek to cultivate in every young person at our College – Character, Learning and Compassion.
As each student stepped forward, we celebrated not only individual achievement but also the spirit of perseverance, curiosity, excellence and service that strengthens both our students and our wider College community. Presentation Night is a powerful reminder of the many ways our students shine, both in their studies and in the way they contribute to the world around them.
The evening also showcased the best of our College’s creative life. The Concert Band and College Choir delivered uplifting performances that enhanced the warm and celebratory atmosphere. Their talent, commitment and teamwork remain a proud reflection of the vibrant arts culture flourishing at Chisholm.
We congratulate all award recipients and student leaders recognised on the night and extend our thanks to the families, staff and friends of the College who continue to support and inspire our students.
Finally, the evening concluded with a heartfelt acknowledgement, led by Vice Principals Mrs Fiona Flower and Mr Rino Randazzo, honouring Mr John Bormolini for his 12 years of academic and pastoral leadership as Principal. On behalf of our entire College community: thank you, Mr Bormolini. We wish you every blessing in these final weeks as Principal of Chisholm and in whatever the future holds.
Mr John Swindells
Deputy Principal – Mission
