On Thursday 4 November, 26 of Chisholm’s finest endurance athletes took part in the School Sport Triathlon Championships held at Champion Lakes. It was great to have five students complete the race as individuals.
Their race distance for Year 10s was a 600m swim, 16km bike, 4km run. For Year 11/12s they had a 750m swim, 21km bike and 5km run and for teams it was a 300m swim, 16km bike and 3km run. Overall Chisholm performed exceptionally well in some hot and windy conditions.
Our Year 11 Girls team finished 3rd in the Teams competition and Daniel Gianatti (Year 10) had a strong performance in the Individual event.
Looking forward to Chisholm taking part in the 2022 Schools Sport Triathlon which will be open again to Year 10s and 11s.
