Our Head Boy, Liam, and Head Girl, Melanie, hosted our annual Senior Students’ Quiz Night last Friday. K01 was transformed with 30 groups of Year 11 and 12 students, and our Year 10 Assistant Prefects and friends. Mrs Wainwright and Mrs Kastropil also formed a staff table to add an extra challenge for our students. Each table nominated their theme and came dressed to impress! There was some great creativity, lots of colour and, most of all, fun! 

Eight rounds of questions on everything from Science to Music to TV Shows to Maths tested the intellect of the groups.  There were some traditional games like Heads and Tails, Business Logo Sheets, an Italian Quiz and a raffle for a giant 4.5kg Toblerone. A Year 12 group, “Godspeed”, were overall winners, very closely followed by “Sidemen” who were one of our Year 10 groups. “The Explorers” rounded out the top three with another great performance by a Year 12 table.

We wish to thank all of the staff who volunteered on the evening: Mrs Box, Miss Anderson, Miss Re, Miss Belcher, Miss March-Anthony, Mr Rendall, Mr Glover and our resident photographer who captured all the colour and fun of the evening, Miss Ranalli. 

Mel and Liam did an outstanding job in coordinating, organising and running the entire quiz night and they should be extremely proud of themselves for the wonderful evening they created.
