Some of our students participated last year in Deakin University’s Teen reading in the digital era research. From the release of this research, Australia Reads offers seven research-backed recommendations for engaging teens in reading for pleasure.

With students in Years 7 to 10 visiting the library fortnightly for recreational reading, Year 9 AE students participating in Literature Circles, students able to borrow over holiday periods and a well-resourced and staffed library, Chisholm actively contributes to these recommendations.
